 There are just a few surf factories and companies which produce surfboards in Mexico. Oasis is one of them. You may find brand-new custom made surfboards as well as second hand surfboards at very economic prices. You can also learn how to surf at the Oasis Surf Academy as well as take some Spanish lessons while you enjoy your vacation in a Latin country.
Oasis Surf Factory is located in Playa Zicatela, a famous beach break considered one of the 10 best surf locations in the world. This area is where most of the International and Professional contests are held. Among these, are the 12th X GAMES of Surf and The Game, organized this past July 2006 by ESPN international.
This is where the surfboard manufacturing process is done. We
take custom surfboard orders and also have standard models to

related to the manufacturing process such us: foam, resin, fiber

Leashes, rash-guards, board bags and surf accessories are also
available in Oasis surf shop located in playa Carrizalillo.
Oasis Surf Academy is located in playa Carrizalillo. Oasis offers to their customers the opportunity of taking surf lessons in a true Surf Academy. We provide beginners with all the needed equipment to start surfing: surfboards, leashes, rash-guards, car transportation to the beach, a bilingual and experienced surf instructor who will be with the student during the entire class. The Academy also offers a variety of courses related to surfing and sea life: ecology, wave forecasting, swimming, yoga and stretching, nutrition for athletes, etc.
Surfers can also arrange to make surf trips to different beaches around Puerto Escondido.
In Oasis Language School students can enjoy "the scene" and beaches of Puerto Escondido as well as learn the language and get involve with the Mexican culture.
